Dow Chemical Loses $400 Million Verdict in Price-Fixing Trial

Feb. 20 (Bloomberg) -- Dow Chemical Co. lost a $400 million jury verdict in a trial over claims that it conspired with other chemical makers to fix the price of urethane products used in making cars, appliances and furniture.

The plaintiffs asked for $1.125 billion in damages. Some claims were found to be time-barred.
